The difference this year is the fact that the Colts defense has stepped up and played well when they've needed to. This, coupled with the additon of the most clutch kicker of all time, is one of the main reasons why I think they will win this game. Peyton Manning will rebound. Indy has the big-time advantage in receivers, and their solid run-game gives them good balance. Like all games, turnovers will obviously have a bearing on the outcome. But it's gonna be the Bears and the Colts in the Super Bowl. Colts are going to win it all this year. No doubt.
And Tom Brady's record means **** to me. Tom Brady is one man. He's a great QB, an experienced QB, but by no means will be the deciding factor in this game. The Patriots defense, as always, will have the biggest impact. You can't look at the past for some sort of inclination on what will happen in this game. Records mean **** when it comes down to game time. It's all about who shows up. And we'll see.
