He has struggled in coverage the last two years. It's not so much that he forgot how to play as it was a mix of injuries to the starting CBs (putting more coverage responsibility on the safeties) and lackluster pass rush from the front four (leading to more QB time in the pocket and more time on an island covering WRs).

He's a good SS. He's much better against the run than the pass, but he isn't terrible against the pass.

Lynch was a great player for the Bucs, but the Bucs clearly have to think about rebuilding. They aren't one or two players away from serious contention and, if they were, it certainly isn't one strong safety away from a Super Bowl.
Werent they leading the league in sacks this year for a while. I know they blitz alot, so its not all coming from the front 4, but they get good pressure.
