i think what your referring to is that he was a RFA, however he came into the league as and UDFA, which means we didnt have to compensate you, i am not sure how RFAs normally work, however i see no reason the NFL should award a team compensatory picks if they already got picks from the RFA status. But in this case you recieved nothing, which IMO would entitle you to a compensatory pick. but i really have no idea what the rule is, anyone know?
