Dude, echo Peanuts comments, this is a sick mock. Might be the best ive seen as well. A few questions / comments though;

Totally agree with were you put J.Scott. Hes a NFL right tackle "project", and the combines will show that.

Dont understand Manny Lawson so low, could you explain.

I believe Willie Hall OT is now on everyones radar as a NFL left tackle and legitimate sleeper. He needs to be in that third round. One scout said he was the only "true and agile left tackle in the draft". He needs to get stronger though.

Love Clevelands pick of Carpenter, unless somehow Ngata is available. Would still like to trade down a bit to get him. I believe if Ngata is gone they go DT in round #2 for sure. Could reach on Oshinowo there. As i said i love Willie Hall in round #3.

Great Mock ...
Wow. I seriously had no idea that this mock would resonate with more than one person! It sure is a nice feeling to get more praise than hate for one of these. I feel honored. Thanks! OK, on to the questions/comments:

Scott is that "low" for a couple of reasons, not least of which is what you said. He was once a top prospect, but that luster is mostly gone now. It's also a very deep draft at OT. Still, he's a nice grab in the 2nd round. Under the right coach and in the right system, he can still flourish.

Lawson is a trendy prospect for some. He was a DE, but he's built like an OLB at the moment. He would need to put on some more weight to stay on the D-line or learn a new position to play in the NFL, both of which hurt his stock in my book. Furthermore, he was surrounded by alot of NFL-ready talent in that NC State front seven, including his DE partner: Mario Williams. Remember, this draft is loaded at both DE and OLB, so he's just out of luck as a tweener this year.

Thanks for the heads up on Willie Hall. I haven't really done all my HW yet and I can use all the info about the lesser known prospects I can get. I'm sure I can find a spot for him in that 3rd round.

I'm glad you liked my picks for your Browns. I definitely think you can and should trade down and still get Bobby Carpenter in the first. In future editions of this mock there will be more trades. I have been thinking about maybe moving the Browns up to get Ngata, but Oshinowo in the 3rd would not be a bad pick at all. I'm personally not sold on Trueblood, but he's huge and apparently has plenty of potential. Regardless, the Browns should be in a position to contend sonner rather than later.

Thanks again for the positive notes, questions and comments. Keep'em coming!
