I thought that was a little overblown. It wasn't like the guy played on roids in college he took them in the offseason to help heal a lingering elbow injury faster. He wasn't in the NFL so he didn't violate any rules. I believe doctors will give you steroids to help with injuries and whatnot correct me if I'm wrong.

Yeah, people went completely overboard on the whole issue. They were medically-prescribed by a doctor....It was to help an elbow that was having problems healing, and the guy never had a history of anything having to do with drugs or bad behavior in school. He graduated Northwestern with around a 3.7 GPA from what I remember, so he's not some clueless idiot.
He went as far as to have a clause in his contract written in that he would repay his entire signing bonus if he ever tested positive for a banned substance again. Luis obviously panned out for us, and most Charger fans consider him a STEAL at where we drafted him. He just had an awesome, awesome debut as a rookie this year.....
