Im not much of an Insurance Lawyer, more of an Enviornmental Law guy, but it seems he has a legit claim. If he lost that money because of his injury, and was insured, it would seem he is owed it. Depending on the lanuage of the agreement.
But again, this has little to do with the Amazon rainforest or Hybrid cars, so Im no expert.
