Colts won't repeat as Champs
The Colts won't repeat as champs because when you win the Super
Bowl your team is under the microscope and the Colt's flaws will be exploited. The most obvious flaw is their run defense which was last in the league. How did they win the Super Bowl? Because the Bears didn't stick to the obvious game plan- to run the ball down their throats. Yeah, I'm happy Peyton finnaly got his ring, but Lovie Smith messed up with sticking with his interception prone QB but he didn't cost them the Super Bowl. Smith's failure to stick to running Thomas Jones was why they lost. They made good yards running the football. They panicked when the Colts came back and got pass happy. This year teams will continue to run on the Colts undersized front four and keep Manning and Harrison off the field with ball control and time consuming drives. Why the Colts continue to play and put undersized guys at DT in a one gap system beats me. What they do is give themselves a perennial problem in stopping the run when the trend is to get a couple of 300+ pounders even when using the 4-3. This is the year Jacksonville can win the division from them.
