Grossman sucks. I don't like his cavalier attitude about throwing all those interceptions. Lovie Smith is really being stubborn and has his blinders on by keeping him as his starting QB. Face it, the Bears won despite Grossman not because of him. Their defense won games for him and they would have done better with Griese as QB. Now they let their best RB Thomas Jones go to make room for Cedrick Benson who is not as good as Ricky Williams. I feel sorry for Bear fans that they will have to put up with Grossman and his bad throws for as long as Smith is coach. That's why the Bears didn't sign Smith to a long term deal they are waiting to see if his lamebrained decision to hitch his career on Grossman backfires. For Bear fans sake,i hope another year of experience makes Grossman a better player and that Benson pans out, otherwise Smith may lose his job. Don't get me wrong Lovie Smith is a good person and a decent coach, I like everyone else can't fathom why he is bent on sticking with Grossman even when he is struggling. I know he wants to avoid a QB controversy but pulling a guy when he's having a bad game isn't starting a controversy if Grossman is starting again the next week. As far as his passer rating goes, Grossman was either really good or really bad, half the time his passer rating was below 50%. Totally unacceptable. Good luck Bear fans. They should still win a weak division unless the Lions get it together.
