I seriously hope that either side isn't as dumb as they appear in these negotiations. I remember both the 1982 and 1987 strikes. A lot of these owners were not around during that time frame and I wonder what they would do if they ended up losing the kind of money they will. I remember getting tix for Pittsburgh v Indianapolis in '87 when they used the replacement players. My aunts had been given tix and my brother and I went with them. Even though they had seats in the 600 level of TRS we were able to trade them and buy 3 more in the 200 level. TRS was about 1/2 full and that is what it would be like if they end up using the replacements again. Also that was the year that the Steelers ended up holding their replacement training sesssions in Johnstown after they decided to use them.
