Searching through myself, tryin’ to hook the Marianas of deep rhymes
But reachin’ farther each time, they surface shallower than sheet lines
Prolonging my illusion, I watch the sun in its seclusion
Knowin’ no matter how bright or long, our lives reach this conclusion
The Strongest Stars exchange fame for physical diffusion
Losin’ themselves in the limelight, eclipsed in their confusion
Then a different set of keys are dangled for America to paw at
While our Owner invents a new-fangled plan without a fallback
But Political Correctness keeps us fenced like lambs and hens
Instead of character, we’re represented by a camera lens
Ignoring the velocity with which our money’s subsidized
Supporting the atrocities our media never publicized
Defined by worth, we’re all separated by a rabid void
As our Mother Earth devolves to a cancerous planetoid
Eyeing a dark horizon, longing for time I once enjoyed
Hoping my son can rise and shine in the world that I destroyed
