That whole situation is awful. The Hurricanes were bad enough, but I think the NFL's response was rushed and not the best for the team, where there were many other alternatives. The one thing I have to give them credit for, is that I haven't heard any Saints players use it as an excuse. You are right I have never heard anyone of them say anything to blame the season on the hurricanes instead you can find alot of them saying that they feel even more motivated about playing. I think you do have to seperate the talk about moving the team to another city from the hurricanes though. It has been talked about for over filve year that Benson wants out and I think that is causing more problems for the players thatn anything else. They are the one that are stuck between the owner and the Fans.
