What an ***. This isn't a big loss. If you knew anything about the 49ers you would realize that Eric Johnson isn't part of the rebuilding plan. He isn't going to be re-signed, and he has only been healthy 2 out of 6 years. I do like EJ but to say this injury is going to screw the team is stupid considering Johnson hasn't really done a whole lot and if Davis wasn't injured earlier in the season EJ wouldn't have seen as much time as he did.

Oh my God, ERickson, you went from Rams to 49ers? Well, you're still a phony running that hateful site of yours. Look, if the 49ers get rid of EJ like they got rid of JP, I can't see how that'll help the team. One side, yeah, it will help V Davis. Other side of the coin, look who we play next side and missing a TE for the 2 TE set will be very bad for us. Of course, maybe we can draft another VD like caliber player in the draft, or maybe we'll use D Walker. But right now, it's not good.
When a team gets hurt, well, what happened when Allan and Jennings were hurt? We lost didn't we? Didn't we have that same problem last year with different players? It's always a key player that gets it on the 49ers. It's always when one gets hurt, or 2 like Spencer and EJ, no way we're beating the Saints.
