Wide receivers are over valued these days. If you don't have a line that can block, a QB that can make decisions, and an offensive coordinator that will call the right plays that receiver will never touch the ball. See Randy Moss.
I like the way the Niners have been building. Establish a running game and blocking while you bring a young QB up to speed. Then worry about who you throw the ball to.
