I have talked about this on another forum, but the long and the short of it is this, If you look at our team as it stands now, the majority of the key guys CJ / TJ / RJ / Levi / Anderson where all there before lewis came in. And at the end of the day, anyone would have drafted Palmer at no.1 it was a no brainer.
So when you start to dig deeper in to it he really hasn't done a whole lot to improve this team on offense. Then you look at the Defence, and yeh sure he has changed it a whole load, but lets face facts here. Is the defence any better now than 5 years ago ? the answer is probably not, its just at time they look better because Palmer & Co, have racked up a lead and teams have to chase games.
Marvin is supposedly a Defensive Guru and yet he imo hasn't moved this defense along 1 bit since he arrived. The offence is better but how much of that is down to Marvin when you consider 80% of it was here before he came, i bet if you had kept Dick around long enough this Offence would be what it is now, and i hate to say it but the defence would probably be better too
Marvin has made soo many questionable Draft choices its getting beyound a joke. The last 2 drafts we have needed Defensive guys not backup RB's and WR's and 3rd string QB's.
He needs to make strong decisions from here on out and start telling us more than the standard lines, otherwise as far as im concerned he can walk.
