I'm looking for someone to take them into the future. If it isn't going to happen this year with this QB, then fine. At least give them a chance to grab one of the better QBs in the draft this season. Otherwise it's a waste of time. You got Pennington out there taking up someone else's spot. Not to mention the fact that he's not the only guy to come in from another team to try to ressurect the position in Chicago. Their O line is getting old, their D is banged up, and it's looking very much like it's going to be a bad year for them unless they pull up on the contols very quickly. Brian Griese is a band aid for this team right now. The real fix will come with a decent draft pick.

Well the name of the game is to win now. Chad is better than any qb on your roster now. If everyone is getting old like you say then you better pull the trigger to win now. No rookie will come in and win for you now. So if you dont go out and get a qb now, and your team is aging already, then your basically closing your window of winning. My point was is if they were able to get Chad for a 4th then they should. Do i know what it takes to get him, no. But if he came cheap like i said all along then they should. You cant get a future qb four games into the season.(Unless you have a Romo)
