well yeah, thats the max punishment for a conviction on domestic assault. they couldnt arrest him then because they werent sure, they couldnt arrest him now because they are even less sure....i doubt it was anything, alot of these disputes with pro athletes are just money hungry *****es. They tell you the maximum sentence because its good journalism, just like vick getting 7-10....sure
