the DVR rocks on Direct TV!
The only thing I miss from cable is the On Demand..but from what I was told by a DTV rep is they are working on it for Sattelite so we should have it soon.

ANd I don't want DirectTV, they don't give you channels you want like the International Film Channel, Turner, BBC America. It's satellite with no channels, and I don't think they do local channels.  |
That's not true...I have all those channels on the basic package. and they DO have local channels as well plus your local area sports teams. And I get 200 basic channels for $50/mo plus DVR. The movie channels are cheaper than cable too..instead of paying $20 or more a month the avarege is $12/mo per package. I'm currently getting HBO and Max for $13/mo for three months. It's cheaper than cable and the picture quality is ten times better!
