Steelers strong safety Troy Polamalu said Thursday he's not certain whether he'll need knee surgery following the season.
"I don't know, quite honestly," Polamalu said. "I don't think so, not at this point."
A more immediate issue is Polamalu's availability for Saturday night's playoff game against Jacksonville.
Polamalu missed his second consecutive practice Thursday but will suit up today under the watchful eye of coach Mike Tomlin.
