JP got a raw deal in Buffalo. He was screwed over by Mularkey and company, and his development was SEVERELY hampered because of it. Under PROPER coaching, he could develop into a decent #1 QB, but will more than likely end up as a backup for the rest of his career.
I like him as a person. He's done a LOT for the Buffalo community. The down side is that he didn't produce on the field. He looks to be slow in his read progressions, and he tends to lock onto one receiver FAR too often. His ability to read defenses and make adjustments has also been in question in the past.
