Would love to see Lewis back in the Charm City but I don't know about giving up draft picks for him and who knows if Cincy would even go for it. One thing is for sure, our rowdy defense NEEDS someone they respect to keep them under control, Marvin Lewis would be perfect in that respect.
I still think it would be best to just promote Rex Ryan. The players respect him, he knows the system and he knows the fans. The only drawback is that he has no head coaching experience, but, as the article says, neither do most of the candidates we're looking at. The fact is, if we don't give him the job, it's very likely that someone else will. I just wish I had a fast forward button, because this waiting game is awful, I'm dieing to know who our coach is going to be.
