First, when picking for the Cowboys I was thinking picking the best players that fit into their system. That is the biggest misconception about the draft -- you don't draft the "best player available" you draft the "best player available for you system."
The only real difference in the Bears offense was the subtraction of Thomas Jones. You'd be suprised how much better an O-line plays when they have confidence in the players behind them.
When I was coming up with this mock draft, I kept picking and I kept seeing Gholston slide. And I kept saying he won't slide this far -- but then I asked who would draft him if the New York Jets didn't pick him. After finishing I actually looked at the last time I saw a DE going from possible top 10 pick to mid-first rounder even after showing what he needed to show in the pre-draft workouts. You know who I found -- Will Smith DE from Ohio St. of all places.
