Default ESPN: Titans will trade Pacman once reinstated

http://www.nashvillecitypaper.com/ne...iewStory=58698

An ESPN report said the Tennessee Titans would attempt to trade suspended cornerback Adam “Pacman” Jones once he is reinstated to the NFL, but the club said no final decision has yet been reached regarding Jones’ fate with the team.

The Titans issued the following statement, acknowledging a meeting about Jones and with his representatives, but said the decision has not been made.

“We have had internal discussions and a meeting with Jones’ representatives since the season concluded,” the statement read. “Assuming he is reinstated at some point, which we have received no indication when or if that will occur, we face various decisions. At this point, no decisions have been reached, but in order to have the best information available to us, we did inform his representation that, at some point, we would investigate all of our options. We will not comment otherwise until the suspension has ended and we have reached conclusions about his future with the club.”

While trading or releasing Jones is certainly a possibility, attorney Manny Arora, who has been representing the cornerback in his legal issues, said neither he nor Jones have been given a definitive answer as to what will happen if he is reinstated.

“They have only told us that they are evaluating all their options as far as Adam is concerned, if and when he is reinstated,” Arora said. “Of course, there is the possibility that he won’t be with the team next season, but they have not told Adam or us anything about what they plan to do. I think they are still looking at all of the options.”
