Big Ben & His Wish List
I sympathize with Ben - he has always wanted a tall wide receiver, but when you have receivers like Hines Ward, Santonio Holmes and Nate Washington and a capable tight end like Heath Miller, sometimes you have to make do with you have.
Like Ben, I hope Alan Faneca returns to the Steelers. He has been a mainstay on the Steelers offensive line and he is as good as they come. To lose Alan to free agency would be a major blow.
On a new contract, that would be worked out. My advice to Ben is simple - Focus on the game and let the people who represent both you and the Steelers work on the contract.
