The Minnesota Vikings cut veteran quarterback Kelly Holcomb Wednesday, according to the Minneapolis Star Tribune.
Holcomb was acquired by the Vikings in a trade from the Philadelphia Eagles late in training camp last season for a sixth-round draft pick.
Holcomb started three games in 2007 before suffering a neck injury on October 28. He completed 42-of-83 passes for 515 yards with two touchdowns and an interception.
