Theres only one ball.

Now had we stuffed the run?

This is basic stuff man.

LaMont Jordan isnt the answer at RB, it took what 5 years for Justin Vargas to get any kind of significant playing time, Dominic James sucks, and Michael Bush is an unknown at this point. if you think that these guys are good enough to cut it your either:

A.insane like Al Davis

or

B.learned football by watching the Arena League

That is hardly the way to close that point gap.

You win with defense and thats been proven hundreds of times now.

Ask the Pats.

Simply stuffing the run will give our offesne several more possessions each game.

Thats far more valuable than another RB.

im sure i dont need anymore examples to make my point. all of the teams i mentioned pretty much sucked just like your Raiders. they all had significant holes on the roster. when each of these teams drafted the stud RB of the draft they had enough turnaround to be at least a .500 ball club. all of these RBs made their respective teams better in very different ways except in the special case of Reggie Bush who lets face it sucks as a runner but the threat of having him break one opens things up for his team. now go ahead and doubt the presence of having a game breaking running back in the backfield can do for your team.
