Personally, I'm pleased with the Bears offseason and think they'll come into this season MUCH better than last. There's a bunch of "ifs" - but I think the Bears can contend this year.

I was disappointed the Bears didn't pursue Max Starks (whom I feel is a great tackle and just needs a change of scenery). Hopefully, they address the Oline with the first two picks of the draft (and maybe even take a Mike McGlynn with the 3rd or 4th pick they have). A Jamaal Charles/Chris Johnson type back in the second would be ideal.

I honestly do not think any QB in this years' draft will come in and perform as good as Grossman can. Maybe I'm a glutton for punishment, but I really like Rex as our QB and think that he can be something this year.

I think the Bears did a great job bringing in WRs. They got a decent cast for pretty cheap.

I mean, you obviously never know. But with a healthy Mike Brown, Dvorecek playing alongside a healthy Tommie Harris, and Grossman protected - I honestly think this team has the potential to be REALLY good. And I'm a minority in thinking that, even among Bears fans.

Grossman was pretty well protected in 06,remember thats when we had a decent O-line,he was up and down like a fiddlers elbow good one week bad the next, what really bugs me about Grossman isn't the fact that he often throws off the back foot or that he throws into double or triple coverage,or that when a defender breaks the line you know for sure he isn't going to escape, its the fact that he fumbles the snap far too often,it really should be like putting a pair of socks on in the morning, 2ND NATURE.

WR's did i miss something? Bringing back Marty Booker while an upgrade over Moose certainly isn't a significant signing and as for Brandon LLoyd. No wonder they were cheap. The problem we have is that we have 2 maybe 3 #2receivers and no #1.

I agree we have to go OT in the 1st and maybe RB or guard in the 2nd,but again bringing rookies in will not solve all our problems overnight especially on the O line it will take them time to adjust to the speed of the game as well as trying to gell as an effective unit.So MR Grossman will still be in for a few nasty shocks.

Defense. If we stay healthy they and the ST will carry us yet again, prey that they do stay healty, because if they don't the Preacher predicts a top 5 pick next season.
