Im am an average fan with above average knowledge of Xs and Os. Yet, I am still an AVERAGE fan as I can no better predict the draft than anyone can. I am not in camp to see the development of young players. I go strictly by the uneducated reports from know nothing reporters.

Guessing who a team picks in a draft doesnt display football saavy in any way.

The reason I stopped coming around is because this board is a complete joke. The Raider forum consists of two Charger fans ganging up on Raiders fan claiming every move they make is a bad one and doing it under the transparent guise of football knowledge. I know the game too well for a novice with no knowledge to fool me and I got tired of it. I came here to have intelligent discussion and this board lacks that.I played 13 years of ball from Pop Warner to 3 years ball at Fresno State in the early 80s and nothing I learned made me qualified to know what player any team was going to pick in the draft.

Its not that hard yet you couldnt utter that about Gallery although its been mentioned many times by ex players on the games. The Raiders resurrgence at running the ball showed that to be true also but you credited that to racking up 75% (YES 75%) of their yardage against the weakest teams. Yeah, we got all that yardage in 4 games. Thats why I stopped coming around and not because I didnt want to eat crow.

You compared me defending Robert Gallery to defending Ryan Leaf. Leaf didnt have a starting job in his 6th year so your use of ther term "bust" is just too novice for my liking as I seek places to have real football discussion. Again, this board is a joke. I dont hate your team and you hate mine which doesnt make for intelligent conversations. I have no reason to hate your team as youve been bottom dwellers for 4 decades and my team has 5 SB appearences and 3 rings.

The last 5 years havent done that to me yet. Im still enjoying our last SB trip. Thats how SBs effect us Raider fans because its what you play for. Win or lose, I would go to the SB every year and lose before I would settle for mere playoff appearences.

You wouldnt know anything about how that feels since your team is finally enjoying consistent success for the first time since Sid Gilman.

Thats why you think that we Raider fans share your bitterness but we dont.

Knock us out of the playoffs a few times on the waay to Lombardi trophies and I may start hating your team.

You also dont understand the human element of the game and how personal lives can effect players play. You are one of the know nothing fans who thinks that just because a guy is paid a lot, he shoudnt be human. Let me see? what else can I find? You also ASSUME that every coach who uses a player uses him properly since you put performance all on the players shoulders.

If he didnt play well, it must be his fault right?

Maybe theres a reason why coaches get fired before players get cut?

You dont know how a players body feels, you dont know what kind of relationship he had with his coach, you dont know what effected a players performance.

Im willing to give a guy a chance to see how he adapts to his new surroundings and team. Its well documented that a change of scenery has helped players revive their careers.Im willing to wait until all the cards have been dealt before giving an opinion.

I never predicted a record, an outcome of a game etc.Im not, and I have said it a thousand times, in the prediction business.But you hear my words as predictions such as when you said that "this guy thinks Javon Walker can beat Cromartie"

I nver said it but Im also not so novice as to think that speed is the only way for a WR to get seperation on a DB. Again, if you could only provide some insightful words but you cant. All you are doing is reading that we signed a guy, googling his name, and reading some reporters opinion. Your "analysis: isnt from carefully watching the guy play yet you thought you could slip that by me unnoticed and still be considered credible.
