Even a bad high school team can give 5 seconds of protection to a QB. 3 seconds of protection is basically touching the defensive lineman and then letting him come straight at the QB. If the Texans even got their bodies in front of the defense, then you should be able to get at least 4-5 seconds, which Carr could definitely use.
