The SEC has a few elite teams, a few great teams, a few good teams, and VERY few alright teams.

Who are the SEC elite teams? Auburn and......?
If Cal isn't an elite team?...then who the hell in the SEC is considered an elite team besides Auburn?
The Pac has two elite teams in USC and Cal, a good team in ASU, and three "alright" teams in UCLA, Oregon State, and Oregon....any of which could hang with whatever great or good team you want to match them up against....we have two pushover teams in Washington and Arizona....the rest...Washinton State and Stanford can put up a good fight....
The biggest reason USC is a shoe-in is because they're defending National Champs....and excluding the Cal Triple OT loss last year, they haven't lost a game since October of 2002....I think that's right.
They've played a tougher schedule than OU as well....
