Jones was a great linebacker this year but the forced fumbles number is not equal to Teo's interceptions number. Also Teo had more tackles and was a more overall pressence on ND's team. Georgia did not have as much of an impressive team as Notre Dame and Teo competed with what is most likely the best front 7 defense in the last several years. He also did this through a rough period of time where others may have given up.
1) It's just as impressive.....they're both turnovers and change momentum.

2) Yeah Te'o had more tackles, but he didn't take over/dominate games like Jones did (see Mizzou & Florida). Jones also accounted for 10 turnovers, and he missed 2 games.
