Maybe the Lions have improved like you think the Eagles have. Let me refresh your memory. Last year the Eagles finished 6-10 last in their division. The Lion 5-11 last in theirs that's how I compare teams.So all of a sudden the Eagles are great? The Giants finished 11-5 so they're as bad or as good as the Eagles you say?
Eagles(6-10) are a lot closer to the Lions(5-11) last year. Than the Giants(11-5).
BTW be carefull with direct personal insults/attacks.
