It should come down to FSU and Miami. Clemson will be down with Whitehurst gone, BC could put a run in, as could Georgia Tech, I just see FSU and Miami as too talented not to win their respective divisions.
Wright has not shown any improvement in the offseason, and unless he is far better than last year, FSU wins it again. Meanwhile, Weatherford looked like a new man in the offseason, only throwing one INT in the entire offseason, and that was thrown in a blown route by his receiver, so it wasn't even his fault(granted offseasons can lie, but Miami's offense put up a whopping 68 yards in the spring game)
I'll give FSU my vote.

Wright was ranked 4th by scout.com I think for this years QB class and Weatherford was 10th. Regardless they have some surrounding talent on offense with Olsen and Moss. And they have a very strong defense with two great safeties in Phillips and Meriweather.

Weatherford was the 6th prostyle QB if memory serves me.
Wright has the talent, but he has no poise and is shaky against the blitz, which FSU uses almost every play. Don't get me wrong Miami has the ability to win the conference and even a NC, but the defense will have to carry this team all year, the offense is just mediocre.

Yes you are right. And frankly, that defense has the capibility of carrying them.
BTW, It was Scout Inc. And it was for this upcoming year not highschool. Unless I misunderstood you.

Oh, I get you. I was going from their high school numbers.
Both are talented, Wright has a much higher ceiling, but has more issues than Weatherford. If Wright can get it together, Miami will be tough.

Yep, you nailed it on the head. But wow what has happened to Miami's recruiting the last year?

Larry Coker. He isn't the recruiter Butch Davis was. He just took Davis guys and won a title with them. I think this could be his last year at the U.
