Okay, so there is not one believer here that thinks VT has a shot at the title? Think about it, you know the hokies are going to have a stingy defense that's among the best in the country. They have filled in the holes on their D-line and also in the secondary with some young players stepping up and having phenomenal springs. They start off the season slow and Glennon will have a chance to get his "sea-legs" under center. The first challenge will be at GT and BC and VT certainly has an edge on those teams, although I do think both should be considered as having shots at the title. VT has been the underdog in the coastal the last two years and has won it both years. They have excellent coaching and they always have inexperienced players who come through to produce amazingly consistent win-results. Get your heads out of your a--es people and realize that the ACC is not all about Florida teams. Yes, they're good, yes they get all the media attention, but Clemson, BC, GT, and VT all have the potential to win the title and on any given saturday, any of above favorites (florida "media-dynasties" included) could lose to a much improved Wake Forest, UNC, or NC State as has happened on so many occasions (last year included). The ACC's a rock-solid conference, don't rule out the players!

VT is overrated, this year, they will be good but they don't have a QB who has any expereince, I said the same thing about Clemson. VT will have a solid defense, but the offense lost 2 RBs, a QB, and the defense lost a few key players. I would not rule out them winning their half of the conference, but I expect Miami to run out after the FSU game. FSU could easily lose to Clemson or BC, or NC Stae, but those teams will lose more conference games than FSU will, so FSU should win the Atlantic division pretty easily.

FSU is not a "media-dynasty". when you have pretty much dominated a conference that has nothin to do with the media. its just expected at FSU. VT has the potential to compete but the only way that they have been able to beat Miami is with a mobile qb and now that Miami has finally solved that i dont see anyone else touchin these 2 "media-dynasties"
Yeah I like that FSU "media dynasty". A team that was in the top 5 for 14 straight years is a media dynasty?
Plus who did they get title number two against?
Haha, touche. I don't mean that Miami and FSU are not talented schools, they have earned their reputation and have done amazing things in past years. The only thing I'm sick of is that, year in and year out, the media always hypes up both schools, no matter what kind of year they had previous. I do think both programs will be great this year and the ACC race is going to keep all of us on the edge of our seats no matter what team we're routing for. I can't wait for September baby!!!

See now that's more like it. I have thought several of the last few years FSU and Miami were overrated, this year they are right where they belong. I think VT, BC, Clemson, NC State, FSU, Miami, GT, and even Maryland can all be very good this year, but I think only 5 of those teams will compte for a title. VT, BC, FSU, Miami, and Clemson.
