Nico Johnson acquitted on harassment charge
Alabama signee Nico Johnson was found not guilty today by Judge Michael L. Jones of a misdemeanor charge of harassment, according to an official with the Andalusia Municipal Court.
The charge stemmed from claims of a non-physical altercation made by an Andalusia High classmate. Johnson appeared in court yesterday and his favorable ruling was issued this afternoon.
A five-star linebacker prospect, Johnson was considered one of the top prospects in the Crimson Tide's 2009 signing class. He is expected to enroll in summer classes at UA next week.
