Default outlook for edge

certainly levi brown and tomlin are going to put more emphasis on the run game, this has got to be a back to form type of year for edge then, right?

Man, i'd hope so..it's a great start to get him back to form at least. I'm sure the fans would like him to live up to that contract..

plus with all the coverage on the WR's and Pope if he continues to develop, then this team could utilize the screen so well if they wanted to. I could see having a real nice comeback year

he's definitely under the radar this time around. Last year everyone was calling him the missing link. Now the attention level's dropped a lot this season. I remember reading somewhere that he doesn't really like going for Td's..which means he might not be a #1 RB in fantasy..

Two years ago I had him rated top 5, most people let him slide to me, this was great, last year I was screaming the arizona oline and offense wasn't doing too much running this year and everybody was all about edge and not my, that was how I got gore in most of my leagues. this year, I thin edge bounces back in a big way. the top 10 in RB's usually is drastically different from year to year with only a few being in there consistently, which is why LT, LJ and SA are always top picks in fantasy is because of their consistency in the RB rankings from year to year

yes, i fully agree with you on that. Wasn't Droughns top 10 last year? uhhhhh yeahh LOL. This year though, I think Sjax makes a mark to be in that consistency group, and i think Gore has a chance for that as well...Also i think Addai and Maroney have a chance to make some noise too. Edge will have his opportunity this year i think, but i think he'll be suprising most people if he's in the top 10 in fantasy points.
