personally if I am a HC I'm just running lead, trap and strech w/ an occasional hitch w/ my backup players.

Ask him how bad the Bears WR's were.

Nah, forget, I already know.

He loved this one kid from Chicago who they cut and Dallas picked up. For the **** of me I can't remember his name! Blew out his knee and never returned so it di not matter but he was a stud till the injury.

Anyways, he loved his time in Chicago actually.

Being older than most here, I lived through the first Gibbs era of 4 SB and looking horrible in preseason all the time and all...
but you have a new o-cord and having seen KC play a lot I want to know a few things

Where's the mulitple shifts and motions?

Where's the multiple formations?

Where's the the pulling guards and tackles?

Where's the toss pitches and sweeps?

Where's the QB role outs?

Where's the TE seam routes?

Where are the end arounds and reverses?

Other teams are all doing them...
Sam Huff and Sonny Jerguson have been asking these questions on the radio broadcast the last 2 weeks.... pointing out the the skins are running the same 10-12 palys over and over and over...

It's NOT Saunders offensive play book and it's not even Gibbs' from last year.... Sonny and Sam say they run a ton of plays in practice but none of what they are running in the preseason games look anything like what they run in practice...

WTF gives?
[/b]

maybe you should consider the fact that you don't have a:

Trent Green
Tony Gonzales
Larry Johnson.

That always helps, an offense.

That would like the Bears brining in Tom Moore as an OC then complaining because the offense
isn't the same as it was when he had Peyton Manning, Reggie Wayne, and Marvin Harrison executing his
plays.

Portis and Cooley aren't that much of drop off...

Brunnel may be though... t

that offense has really big play book... Terry Shea said it take 3 years to really have it working properly... Bears ran it out of town after one year...

I like Cooley.

But he isn't the same type of field stretcher that Gonzales is.

In that offense its all about having the right QB...and Brunell isn't the right QB for that offense.

Nevermind the dropoff. Portis > Johnson, IMO.

I like Cooley but there's a pretty steep drop off from Gonzalez to Cooley..
