I think the 3-4 move killed any chance he had, there aren't many 5'9" MLBs in the 3-4 scheme.

usually, but you also have to remember Donnie Edwards was under 230 LB's when he was in SD. But they don run a 2 gap system. It all depends on what Zona runs

Ya, but he is not a prototype. Standard 3-4 ILB's are about 6-4, 250-260 LBS. A one gap 3-4 like SD's can shed prototypes and adjust their scheme to a players strengths
