Former Steelers center Chukky Okobi is expected to sign a free-agent contract with the Arizona Cardinals, Okobi told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review today.

Okobi, en route to Arizona this afternoon, said he will sign a one-year deal with the Cardinals, who are coached by former Steelers offensive coordinator Ken Whisenhunt.

Pittsburgh will always be a part of me, but I've gotta move on," said Okobi, a Pittsburgh native. "After everything that went down here, I didn't really fit in."

Okobi, who started seven games in six seasons with the Steelers, was released on Sept. 1.

he had a couple plays where he lost like 12 yards total, other than those couple of plays. If you take out those 2 plays he had 24 for 104 which is over 4 yards. He looked good if you watched the game
