Not trying to rub it in or anything, but HOW DOES THAT TASTE, MMMMMMMMMMM..... Sweet beat down, all that trash talk Erik was doing, all that ranting, all the talk about Saints at 9-7, all the wait until you see us in the Ga. Dome, all the Vick is unstoppable, all the talk about "the Falcons are a different team this year, Vick is a passer, the receivers will be better", and what now? Not a Falcons fan on the site in 4 weeks, no ErikHolmes talking about 9-7...Which the Falcons won't even approach this year... no more trash talk, no more let's all hop on the Vick is God bandwagon, isn't it ironic that the fans who talk the most trash are nowhere to be seen when the time to collect comes?
So for any of the old Falcons who decide to lurk and read this so as not to be seen, you had a great year...for 7 games... we miss you, and come back and apologize for being insane anytime you wish. I'll be right here.

Vick cant make the WRs catch the ball. Vick cant help the terrible pass bocking of the o line. Vick cant help the horendous play calling. And finally, Vick cant do anything about a defense that cant stop anyone. If there was any other QB on the Falcons they would get sacked 10 times a game. If Vick had a better surrounding cast we would be a great team. Hopefully Arthur Blank has figured that out and gets some people in the offseason *cough* Randy Moss *cough*. We also need to get rid of: Coaches, Dunn, Webster, Hartwell, any of the WRs.

Hasnt done anything in quite a few games. Gets 20+ carries and gets 50 yards. Hes getting old and Jerious Norwood is way more explosive.

It is hard to block for someone who stays in the pocket 1 second then runs, Vick isn't the answer he is the problem, along with those receivers. Vick had 84 yards passing and only three drops, I don't care how bad a team is when they only have 84 pass yards there is more than bad receiving. Also that defense is a little terrible, so I'll agree there. But you think Moss will help this team, if Crumpler is srying when someone drops a pass, imagine what Randy will do the first time the other WR drops a pass when Moss thinks he is open. This team needs to let Shaub in the game and trade Vick while they still can, or else they will continue to lead the league in rushing and sit right at that sweet 8-8 mark for the next few years.
Blank needs to start from the QB and just cut everyone who he can, Let Schaub have a go with these receivers maybe they will catch when they haven't ran for 80 yards a play to make up for Vick not getting the ball to them until he has ran around for 6-7 seconds.

i bet the Falcons wish they kept LT! the Falcons are forever doomed to be 8-8 with Vick as their QB. all that talk about Vick being a pocket passer is just wishful thinking. at least they got another 8-8 season to look forward to next year...........

I think it is funny how the Falcon fans come here and complain about all the dropped passes but they aren't even in the top five in the league in dropped passes.

You obviously dont watch the games as I do. Vick had 84 passing yards cause Roddy dropped a 40+ yard pass that wouldve been a TD. Jenkins drops a 25+ yard pass that wouldve been a huge first down and there was a few more easy catches that were dropped. Vick stays in the pocket as long as he can, but with that blocking he doesnt get much time. What else is he supposed to do when the WRs arent open? Stand there and get sacked? The reason Moss is dropping so many with the Raiders is because he wants out and isnt trying- thats obvious to see. Id love to see Schaun in ther for a game cause then all you Schaub lovers who say hes so good- not sure how you come to that conclusion- would see him get killed and knocked out of the game behind that o line. Vick hits the WRs in stride with good passes, I dont see how Schaub can make them catch any better. Take off the Vick hater glasses and see the true problems on our team.

Whoa there little buddy, two drops that would have totalled about 60 yards, allow me to be the first to say I was dead wrong, Vick could have broken the century mark, YIPPPEEEE!!!!!
You are a Vick homer, the offense is terrible and the only thing they have going for them is that they can run better than any other team in the league. If Vick has a great stretch run they might get all the way to 9-7, now where have I heard that number before?

OK and you blame there mediocre records on Vick? He does happen to be the winningest QB in Falcon history. Get him some o line that can pass block and some WRs the can catch the ball consistently and his passing numbers would be a bit better. Also take into account that every other team in the league passes about 10-15 more times than the Falcons. Take Vicks total yards for each game and its close to all the other QBs total yards for the game.
