FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. (AP) -- The Atlanta Falcons re-signed wide receiver and return specialist Jerome Pathon on Wednesday.

Pathon played in eight games for the Falcons last season, catching one pass for 18 yards and returning three kickoffs for 54 yards.

He has 260 receptions for 3,350 yards and 15 touchdowns in his eight-year career.

Pathon caught 34 passes for 581 yards and one score in 2004 for New Orleans.

Those catches must have been when Schaub was playing.. Pathon was pretty good in the slot in Seattle and NO, I don't think you can blame him for his troubles as a Falcon. Just like Price, get him a QB who knows what a WR is and he'll be just fine.

i agree with you here storm...pathon needs a QB and i think hell be fine...also price is a great WR, or at least he was in college, i would like to see what he could do with a good QB...

pathon is similar to price, not only does he need a good QB, but he needs players on the opposite side of the field, niether are a #1 and price is a bit better than pathon.

Agreed, he's no #1 and never will be. I'd take him anyday in the slot though. He is just that on my Madden team. I am just wondering why the Falcons resigned him, (and why they pay for WRs in the first place). Are they maybe looking to go with Schaub?
