are you kidding me, unless he gets all the carries he sucks and with the signing of Mike Anderson i don't think he will be getting all the carries.

don't forget mickey, a lot of the reason he sucked last year was that he was pissed that baltimore went back on their word about giving him a long term deal. He also said that their approach was screwed up because his game has a lot to do with rythym. Now I have already heard the ravens say that they are gonna work anderson at FB, his original position. Jamal got a lot of his yards in his 2000 year running behind the lead block of a FB, anderson is 33 and not getting younger. I don't see him being the feature back, I see a 26 year old taking back the job that he owned only a little while ago.

Also Ellis I'm sure that ankle and the jail time hurt him a bit, I don't know how much either one factored in but he looked pretty damn bad last year. All in all he has a lot to prove this year and with the surrounding cast, mainly Boller he will be hard pressed IMO to find running room. With Anderson I think they try to do what they did when they had Dilfer and that's just run, run, run and let Boller manage the game, whether it works remains to be seen, but it could or it could be a disaster.

I hear ya big, but remember that once jamal was taking the majority of the carries at teh end of the year he had his best games. At the beginning he definitely was carrying some animosity towards the team for turning their backs on him. Do you remember that article that was posted on scout about him? If i remember correctly it explained a lot about how he was during last season.

I remember it but that's kind of what lingers around me, if he was pissed enough to take it out on the way he plays then what is he going to do now? Was this enough money to get him going again?
