Default Ravens Running Game having hard time getting going / Heap looking to have big year

SportingNews.com - NFL - Ravens Team Report

excerpt:

It will take the Ravens' running game longer to develop than previously expected. Not only do the Ravens have a new running back in Willis McGahee, but two new starting offensive linemen on the right side in T Adam Terry and G Chris Chester. Let's just call it a work in progress. ...

If TE Todd Heap remains healthy, he could have a great year. He trained extensively in the offseason for the first time because he had no lingering effects from injuries. But so far in training camp, QB Steve McNair has made Heap his primary target, and that means he'll take a lot of hits.

Ravens52 is on a distinguished road
Default

Heap always has a good year. I use Heap as my main reciever on offense. TE routes are great because they are short and quick which make them a safety valve. McNair used that to his advantage last year. Its just some routes are suicidal leaving them defenseless against tacklers.
