Default Mnf Wtf?

It really makes you wonder who does the schedule for Monday Night Games. We follow up Atlanta-New Orleans with Green Bay-Baltimore. Not exactly the way to earn ratings. I'm happy though, even though it's not a contest between top-rated teams, it is about an even match, and that's enjoyable enough for me. Go Pack Go!!!

Since they have to pick the games before the end of the season they get some bad games like this. Execpt for the Saints most people thought the others would be in the playoff hunt. I would like the MNF game to be able to change the games a month ahead of time. They could have droppeed the Aints/Falcons and gotten one of several good games.

Ya, you are going to get some bad games because they are chosen before the season starts, and they don't know who will be good or not, but you can't change around the schedule to get all the good games. There are two major problems with that. First of all, the fans. If I buy tickets for a Sunday afternoon game, then I want to go to the game on Sunday. I may not be able to go on that Monday, and how is that fair if the NFL just all of a sudden says the game that I purchased that I could attend on Sunday, will now be on a Monday when I can't attend? Second of all, I think you would end up with three or four teams playing in every game of Monday Night Football if the games were changed. I personally like to see a variety of teams on MNF, not just a few good teams.
