Lewis contract is up at the end of the season and dthe Ravens have to decide what RB they want to keep. Before the season I would have said Lewis hands down even with his off the field problems he is still one of the top RB in the game. However I have done a 180 o it now, Taylor is running better than he is. I dont know what to think about a player whose contract is coming up and intead of putting up great numbers is sitting out games casue he has not go an offer he thought was good enough.

Initially looking at this thread, I thought you were talking about Ray Lewis, and in that case it wouldn't be a question, but in the case of Jamal Lewis, I have to agree with you that they should go with Taylor. Lewis is a great running back when he is 100% healthy and on the field, but unfortunately that is not very often. Taking in to consideration the amount of cap relief with him not resigning, I just think you are much better off with Taylor. And as you said he has been running great lately, and if he keeps that up, will be a great back next year.

Sorry about that I did not even noticed I never used Jamal name in my post. Talyor is playing the best but this is the team that was willing to leet Preist Holmes go because they had Lewis.
