Default Mason, Reed expected to play for Ravens

Mason, Reed expected to play for Ravens

Good injury news today for the Ravens. Pro Bowl safety Ed Reed, who missed one game with his strained hamstring and was questionable for today’s game, is expected to play against the New York Giants. Wide receiver Derrick Mason, Joe Flacco’s top target, will also be active today despite his shoulder injury.

But a Ravens official just delivered word that Reed will play today, meaning Baltimore’s defense should be even stronger for its battle versus New York. The Ravens still aren’t sure whether offensive tackle Willie Anderson will play today.

KAS is on a distinguished road

Mason did not look healthy out there, even though he caught 7 passes for 82 yards. It looked like he hurt his shoulder late in the game too - but that wasn't why they lost the game. Their running game was non-existent (except for Flacco's sprints), and their defense just looked slow.

It's going to be interesting to see how they rebound against another NFC East team in the Eagles next week.
