I think him and Zack Thomas are the best from our time. I think that Patrick Willis has a chance to be in the top.

I think I have to put butkus as #1, if butkus didn't get his career shortened by injury, there wouldn't even be an argument, quote from the Terror - "When I went out on the field to warm up, I would manufacture things to make me mad," he once said. "If someone on the other team was laughing, I'd pretend he was laughing at me or the Bears. It always worked for me."

the guy was the most athletic LB to ever play the position, lewis had him on sideline to sideline speed, but no one matches butkus in motor and fear instilling qualities.

I agree about LT but even though he played for the Giants I never hated him. I have never hated the Giants to me the Cowboys - Giants just never had the fire that other teams in the division was able to create.
