I like being the underdog and ranked lower! If there is anything to prove, the Sooners only need that! Nothing to lose and a whole lot of respect to be gained!...

I'll watch some of the Bowls, just a bummer to realize that football is almost to the end again! Maybe we can put something on the Aggies and Johnny Heisman! Maybe the Heisman curse will follow!...

It's CFB and despite Johnny's Heisman achievment and success on the field this season, 30 days cold turkey from the season's games and the fact he is a Freshman could always turn out to be a Heisman Fallout...

It has been confirmed that Sooner OT, Daryl Williams will miss the AT&T Cotton Bowl...

Williams , a SO. from Lake Dallas, Texas suffered a knee injury against WVU on Nov. 17th. When it occurred, Stoops had hoped he could return to play in the postseason...

He will be greatly missed on the Sooner offensive line...

Last years recruit OL/John Michael McGee left after only a short stay for personal reasons...

Recently, He has asked to be considered to return to the program and it appears that Bob Stoops is seriously considering it!...

McGee was a highly touted national prospect out of Texarkana, TX. Excellent size with good feet and blocks quite well...

OU could use his talents after the Sooners experienced several unexpected key injuries on the offensive line this season...

Just in and reported that three PAC12 comits visited the Sooner Campus just two weeks ago. The three were reported to have been top OL prospects...

Looks like Bob and the staff are on the move...

The states Top Player in Oklahoma and ranked #6 DE in the country, DJ Ward graduates early at mid-term to join the Sooners for spring ball in '13!...

Very strong and physical guy. Should be all that the Sooners know he can be for the future success with OU Football... Can't wait to watch this guy!...

Coach Mike Stoops has been working hard to come up with a defensive game plan against the Aggies of aTm... How teams respond is what makes Bowl Games hard to predict...

The one he is structuring is a little more intricate than the one against their last season game against TCU's RB converted QB...

"Well, we'll probably be more diversified, change up some looks. I think that you can go in with a little more of an arsenal than we have previously in a week's period of time," he said this week. "We'll just add a little bit to our game plan."...

Stoops who has a history of using the extra time wisely, established OU Bowl victories 2001, 2002 and 2003, when he was the DC here at OU in the early days...

THe Aggies have averaged 552.33 yards of total offense this season. Slowing them down just a little, could be the difference of winning or losing!...

This won't be the first explosive offense that the Sooners have faced this year, for substantial reasons... OU has already faced #1 Offense Baylor, #5 Oklahoma St., #8 West Virginia and #12 Texas Tech... OU dominated Texas Tech but absorbed a physical beating in shootout wins over Bears, Cowboys and Mountaineers... The teams all share very similar offensive styles... The key difference with aTm, is their QB and Heisman winning Johnny Manziel who can run to no end!... At least, he has so far with the exception of two other SEC teams who did manage pretty well, in keeping his mobility in tact during those matchups!...

Can the Sooners achieve that?... The Sooner defense has to be versatile with him... Covering his good ability to pass and yet, cover him from the box on his ability to break and run!...

Stoops has a history of catching opposing offenses off guard when there is a month to prepare!...

"We'll win the game if we stop him. If we don't, we'll have problems all night," DE David King said. "That's our goal in practice this week and then, we go to Dallas and practice for it in the week leading up to the game."...

I expect this to be one of the top 3 best bowl matchups of the season... Best of Luck to All!... This should be a real Barnburner! Up tempo game might be just a little shy of the right description...

We all know that OT/Williams will be out of the picture for the Cotton... Some other things have occurred to two other starting Sooners that may prove to be a issue with OU and their ability to try to get some things achieved on the field in Dallas!...

Starting WR/Jalen Saunders had a unfortunate mishap a few weeks ago and now DT/Stacey McGee has had some public issues occur, that Bob is dealing with internally with the both of them!... ?

We'll soon see to what extent that Bob has gone to, if any at all, on both of these starting players in regardss to January 4th in the Cotton Bowl...

You start to wonder what these guys are really concerned about in their lives and when your given the opportunities that so many who grow up wishing for a chance to play for a "Big Time CFB Program!"...

In case anyone doesn't realize, the NFL watches CFB players like this, in regards to seeing if they are going to be problematic at the next level... Change in management and the league are happening with unfortunate events like these, if anybody hasn't noticed!...
