MANHATTAN, Kan. (AP) - If Kansas State fans are whining because their tight end won't get to play Saturday, they'd better not look to Louisville for sympathy.
The No. 8 Cardinals will be missing their No. 1 running back and No. 1 quarterback, both media guide coverboys, when they travel to Manhattan on Saturday for a showdown between unbeaten teams.
Nevertheless, as good teams are drilled to do, the Cardinals are taking it all in stride.
``We need to just keep going,'' said coach Bobby Petrino. ``I think the depth that we've been working at and the recruiting and ... the ability to play a lot of players in games last year and in the first two games this year helped us a lot. We've got guys that are very confident.''
Michael Bush was lost for the season when he broke his leg in the season opener. But Kolby Smith ran for two touchdowns last week in the 31-7 defeat of then-No. 17 Miami, Louisville's first victory over a ranked opponent from a BCS conference in four years.
