Bills sign WR Price to one-year contract
April 10, 2006
ORCHARD PARK, New York (Ticker) - Peerless Price is back at the place where he enjoyed his most success.
The Buffalo Bills signed the wide receiver to a one-year contract on Monday.
A second-round pick of the Bills in 1999, Price recorded 232 catches for 3,302 yards and 22 touchdowns in 64 games with Buffalo. Price's best year came in 2002 when he had 94 receptions for 1,252 yards and nine scores.
However, Price was traded to the Atlanta Falcons in 2003 after making exorbitant salary demands. In two seasons with Atlanta, Price managed 109 catches for 1,413 yards and six touchdowns before being released for salary cap purposes.
Price signed with the Dallas Cowboys last season and caught just six passes for 96 yards in seven games before being released again.
