I watched 10 hours of draft and the most difficult to understand draft was Buffalo. They reached twice in the first round for guys projected much lower than they were expected, and got a fairly good value in Youboty.

Are any of you guys liking this draft, or does it confuse you as much as me?

I really was amazed by the McCargo pick, he was a third round projection and a huge reach at 8 on Whitner. I hated it.

Mccargo was ridiculous, I'll give them a pass on whitner cause he could be a star, and they might not have been able to trade down and get him(according to ESPN). Switch Youbooty and Mccargo and it might make a little sense

I understand they might not have been able to get a good trade down, but to take a guy that early kind of surprises me. I would think you take BPA unless they really hate the secondary they have.

I am still baffled by the McCargo pick, he was decent in college, but he had 2 first round DEs around him. I think that will be the biggest waste in the draft. Especially because he isn't really even a good fit for the system they want to run, he isn't a 4-3 NT, and he doesn't get enough penitration to be a DT in the 4-3.... I really have trouble seeing the idea behind the pick, to me he is a guy who really only fits as a guy in a 4-3 where you have a absolute monster beside you to take up a double team on every play, and I don't think the Bills have that.

I was legitimately shocked by the Bills taking Whitmer that high. I don't know why they didn't trade down to get him.

they loved him and I think they had word that the rams were taking him, they also love the ohio state guys, clements, winfield, etc. I actually had mccargo going to the giants with strahan and osi on the ends but it doesn't seem to fit the bills defense, they made a nice pick with youboty so that made up a little.

Yeah, I didn't think Youboty could fall like that. I just was really condused, but Levy is a new GM and they make crazy moves sometimes.

The Bills have had to be the worst improved team this draft. The funny part about it is that they had the most picks out of any team. No one can sit here and say that they couldn't have traded down to get Whitner when Leinart was still sittin there. And as for McCargo goes they could have gotten a DT like Gabe Watson and Orien Harris who lasted to the fourth round. Also the Bills failed to address offensive needs which finished 28th in the league in offense. The bills spent their first five picks on defense
